George Wong

George Wong joined the firm in 1977. He has a B.Sc. degree in mathematics from the University of Victoria as well as a Diploma in Education. He became a Chartered Accountant in 1985 and completed the In-Depth Income Tax Program with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1994.

George’s preferred areas of practice include:

• Owner-managed business and corporate income taxes;
• Estate and trust accounting;
• US / Canadian personal tax preparation and planning;
• Executorships and elder care; and
• Servicing the needs of not-for-profit organizations.

Keith Smith

Keith Smith joined the firm in 1995 and became a partner in 2002. He received his B.Sc. in computer science from the University of Victoria in 1985 and his CA designation in 1989. He has completed the In-Depth Tax course with the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants.

Keith serves a wide variety of clients including small businesses, professionals, and not-for-profit organizations. He prepares personal and corporate tax returns, provides estate, financial and trust planning, and is responsible for the firm’s audits. He serves several large corporations and enjoys a direct relationship with his clients.

Keith also serves as treasurer on the board of a number of community organizations.

Michael Tuckey

Michael Tuckey has been providing clients with trusted advice and insights on a broad range of financial, tax, business and accounting issues for over 20 years. Mike loves to work closely with clients and to deliver value using practical solutions.

After achieving his CA designation in 2003, Mike earned the Certified Financial Planner designation and successfully completed the CICA In-Depth Tax program as well as a TEP designation and two-year diploma from the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

Mike has always enjoyed serving the comprehensive needs of business owners and private corporate groups, with particular experience in the real estate industry. Another area of focus is working closely with clients to develop their estate plans to ensure their assets pass to their intended beneficiaries in a tax-efficient and orderly manner.

Hang Le

Hang joined the firm as an articling student in 2006 after graduating with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Victoria. She then went on to earn her C.A. designation in early 2010.

As a long-time member of the firm, Hang has developed unique relationships with her clients and is committed to providing all clients with the highest level of service. Hang’s areas of practice include:

• audits and reviews of private companies and not-for-profit organizations;
• personal and corporate income tax planning and preparation;
• trust return preparation; and
• accounting, tax, and business advisory services.

Being an owner-manager of a small business herself, Hang has first-hand experience in starting a new business and operating it successfully, which has provided invaluable insights that can be applied towards assisting her clients.

Jonathan Dyck

Growing up in Victoria, Jonathan developed an appreciation for our island lifestyle and community, so much that he opted to stay and pursue his education and career opportunities here.  Jonathan obtained his Bachelors of Business Administration (Accounting) degree, where he then joined Green Horwood & Co LLP in 2010. In 2013, Jonathan further pursued his passion in accounting and taxation where he then obtained his Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA) designation in 2013.

Following this, Jonathan specialized his area of expertise by obtaining his Trust and Estate Practitioner (TEP) designation in 2017. Jonathan’s unique specialization in this area serves to benefit clients who require trust and estate planning with his compassionate consideration for efficient tax allocation and beneficiary involvement.

In addition to estate planning, Jonathan is committed to supporting local businesses where he strives to provide each client with his high level of expertise and insight in accounting and tax services.

Outside of the office, Jonathan spends his time outdoors enjoying our beautiful West Coast landscape with his family by hiking, boating and golfing.

Linda M. Weiss

Linda earned her CGA designation in 1993 and earned a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Calgary in 2004. She joined the Victoria CA firm of English, Seabrook and Pringle (ESP) in 1989, becoming a partner in 2006. Effective January 1, 2014 ESP merged with Green Horwood & Co where Linda is now a Principal.

At Green Horwood & Co Linda will continue to provide a full range of professional income tax and consulting services to her clients.

Kelly Chan

Kelly grew up in Victoria where she obtained her Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria with a Major in Statistics and Minor in Economics. Shortly afterwards, she completed a Post Degree Diploma in Accounting at Camosun, and later went on to complete the CPA program in 2019. She then received her designation in 2020.

Outside of the office, Kelly enjoys spending her time outdoors by hiking and exploring the west coast, as well as travelling and photographing her surroundings.

Debra O’Brien

Debra O’Brien received her BA in Psychology from the University of Victoria in 1994 and earned her Certified General Accountant designation in 2002. She has been working with Lorraine Larkin since 2000, and was with the firm Larkin & Nast Chartered Accountants from the time it was formed in 2003 until January 1, 2016, when it merged with Green Horwood.

Cameron Rose

Cameron grew up in Victoria where he obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Victoria with a Major in Biology and Minor in Microbiology. He changed paths to pursue a Post-Degree Diploma in Accounting at Camosun College and completed the CPA program, receiving his designation in 2021.

Outside of the office Cameron is active in the local soccer community, playing in multiple leagues and sitting on the Board of Directors at Castaways Football Club. Cameron also enjoys cycling and hikes with his chocolate lab, Winnie.

Nikki Smith

Nikki grew up in Vancouver and Cobble Hill before moving to Victoria in 2008. She spent two years at the University of Western Ontario and two years at the University of Victoria to graduate with a BA in Economics. Shortly afterwards she completed a Post Degree Diploma in Accounting at Camosun, then went on to complete the CPA program in 2018, receiving her designation in 2019.

Karen Wong
